Logitech’s Harmony 300 is proud to announce that it will never be out of date since it is powered by an online device library which will cater to more brands than you can compare to any other remote, which includes over 225,000 devices from more than 5,000 brands — now that is definitely more devices than you can shake a stick at. This list isn’t exhaustive though since it will be added to from time to time, making it an ever updated database. This means you can use the Harmony 300 for an aged VCR player or even a spanking new futuristic Blu-ray player, knowing that the Harmony 300 remote will be able to handle either with aplomb.

Setting up your remote control is a snap – you are able to reach your favorite entertainment in just a single button pess. The Watch TV button will turn on your TV and cable box in seconds without the need for any remotes, making it dummy proof even for grandpa. Apart from that, all buttons are specially placed to be within easy reach and sculpted to cater to your fingers naturally. For instance, all buttons to control your DVD player is grouped together, while another set of programmable buttons allows you to jump right to your favorite channels or use for custom control. Of course, this model doesn’t come with a LCD display compared to higher end ones, but that is easily justified by its $49.99 price point as it hits US and Europe from April onwards.
